Duplicate present dilemma
What do you do?
You're given a present from someone close, but you already have a couple other items that are practically the same. Then they ask you about the present, hoping it will be useful to you...what do you say?
Simone blogged about lies sometime recently with some interesting responses. Any ideas about what a person should say in such a situation?

I had this recently. I simply said, "Oh, thanks! Yes, it will be very useful!", went home, gave away my other one and made good use of the gift.
...and it *has* been very useful...
