Teaching kids about mission

Here is one of the things I did last month. This is a newsletter I put out four times a year. It is for primary aged children, telling them about Japan and encouraging them to pray for Japan and Japanese people. I really want children growing up in the church to know that involvement in cross-cultural mission is normal. It is something that every Christian should be involved in at some level.

These are really great Wendy...and definetly you have put in a lot of time and energy into these. I am sure the kids are really blessed by them. You should put them all together into a booklet that missionaries could use??!!

Gary Bauman has suggested we could use them in some format on the JEMA website as a resource people could tap into. I hadn't thought of them like that, but I suppose it's possible. I've been writing them for nearly 10 years now, so I have a few!
