We survived!

Hi all, Just before I dash off to breakfast at this OMF National conference that we're at, I just wanted to let you know we survived our day yesterday AND had a good sleep. I was whacked. It's going to take a few days to recover from this weekend! Today I'm helping (very small bit) present a 45 min seminar to do with Japan as a mission field, presenting a 4 min book review (of 6 books) and tomorrow we get 9 minutes to talk to the whole crowd (200+) about what we've been doing. Fun stuff! As well as keep our boys on track, fed and somewhat clean.

"Japan as a mission field"

Did you notice that while you were away they changed the whole country round?

Sorry all the traveling and "deputation" is hard for the kids and all. I always remind myself "It's a lot of work being on Home Assignment" contrary to what others invission.

Take Care!

Sorry Ken, I'm not sure what you mean...are you commenting on my bad English? I wrote this before breakfast and coffee this morning!

Japan. Remember that place? Stable government for many years, until you left. Then they do and change everything on you. Should be interesting to go back to, especially if nothing at all has changed.

Yeah Ken, I remember Japan. Was talking about it not that long ago...no one really knows what is going to change there, so yes, it will be interesting. Apparently they have made big promises, one person suggested we might get more financial help in raising kids. Japan doesn't generally change all that fast, though, so we don't expect to go back to something completely different!
