What do you think of this? It was in the planning for ten years and it is finally completed. Most of my cross-stitch I give away, but this one is for our Japan home - a reminder of our passport country. The verse is the first verse of the Australian national anthem and the flowers are many of the best loved flowers in Australia.

Japan is also girt by sea, so we have a lot in common.
Looks great Wendy! When you say it was in the planning for ten years does that mean it's taken you that long to do? (Gives me hope for the many unfinished cross stitch projects I have...no longer a hobby but I still have lots of cross stitching stuff)
