Pray for Japan Harvest magazine

I've just sent this email out (it is a monthly email I send), you may be interested. We'd certainly love your prayers, especially for the provision of someone/people to do my various roles with the magazine while we're in Australia.

Praise

  • Our Autumn issue came out before the end of 2013, thanks to a last minute push by some of of our team. A special thanks is for our new designer who picked the magazine in the middle of a cycle and, with a huge learning curve, got it completed.
  • For a great team who are dedicated and strive for excellence.
  • For the provision of a new Proofreader for 2014 while our usual proofreader is on home assignment.
  • For the provision of some short-term assistance by a retired missionary the editing of three articles for the Winter issue.
  • For discussions with someone who may take on some of Wendy's Managing Editor’s role while she’s away for 12 months on home assignment from July.

Pray
  • Because the Autumn issue had so many difficulties and delays, our Winter issue is now delayed. Pray it will come out before the end of February.
  • People to cover the many jobs that Wendy does for the magazine while she is on home assignment with her family.
  • Our goal is to encourage, inspire, and equip the members of the JEMA community. This magazine is the official publication of the Japan Evangelical Missionary Association (JEMA). Pray that we'll serve the community well.
  • Japan Harvest team (listed below) is put together by volunteers. All of us have other responsibilities. Five of us are parents with young children. Pray we would all use our time wisely and work smoothly together.
Here is the list of our Japan Harvest team:

Executive Editor: Gary Bauman
Managing Editor: Wendy Marshall
Art Director, Production Editor (Designer): Greg Corey
Associate Editor: Rachel Hughes
Fact Checker: Georgia Anderson
Proofreader: Ken Reddington
Advertising Director: Yuko Miyata
Administration Assistant: Yuka Oguro
Plus the translators for our News section: Atsuko Tateishi, Tomoko Kato, and Tim Williams.

Thank you for your continuing prayers.

Please pass this along to others who might be interested in praying for the ministry of Japan Harvest.

Blessings in Christ,

Wendy
