photo album creation
Lately I have been putting together a photo album for our upcoming home assignment. It combines two of my loves: communicating and desk top publishing. This is one of the 13 layouts that I have done so far. Unfortunately it has become close to an obsessive occupation. It has come to a point where I just want to get it all done so that I can get on with all the other things that I need to do to prepare to move out of our house and shift our whole family to Australia for a year. How I've ended up starting a blog in the midst of this, I'm not sure, but I'm sure I could come up with some names.

Welcome to the blogging world, Wendy! It will be fun to keep up with your family this way. The 1000 gifts idea came from this post. It has really helped me have a more grateful heart. I filled a journal with my first 1000, and then started it again on my blog. If you click the logo on the sidebar of my blog, it will take you to a list of several people who are doing it.
Great to find you here, Wendy! So you're coming back over for a while, hey? My, these furloughs seem to come around fast, in some ways - ages in others.
I don't know how you ended up starging a blog either, with all that on your plate. It is a crazy, time-wasting but somehow addictive and somehow worthwhile occupation.
Look forward to reading more and keeping up with your lives here!
Love,
Cath
Judith, How do you put a link in the middle of a comment like that?
Cath,
We must be getting old as time seems to be going faster! You only had 1 child when we last saw you. Some time HAS elapsed :-) I don't know if I'll get to Canberra, David has some strange plan of doing two churches on one Sunday by himself - Nepean Valley (near Penrith) and Canberra!
Wendy,
I go here for a lot of help: http://www.bloggingbasics101.com/
Also, I google things like "add link in blogspot".
There are lots of tricks I don't know yet, I'm sure. :-)
In a blogspot post, if you write a word or phrase, then click on the link icon above the message you're writing (it looks like a link in a chain, and has a globe in the background), it opens up a window. In that window paste the website to which you want to link. That should do the trick.
Judith
Thanks Judith. I'll get there. I have a lot of other things on my plate too!
